PUBLIC SEMINARS
The Harry Pound Company offers seminars that are open to the public held in five-star hotels and venues at reasonable prices. You can choose among the following:

Short Foundation Courses – Half-Day

    These courses are based on the needs of participants to advance their current knowledge and skills. It’s like a booster shot given to participants who need on-target enhancement immediately and cost effectively.  

    Topics and concepts are centered on the fact that not all participants need comprehensive training on a particular subject matter. Some simply require newer tools and ideas to boost their present performance. And The Harry Pound Company Short Courses are ideal for this reason. No wonder it’s one of our best sellers!

Intermediate Courses – One-Day

    These convention-type courses are more comprehensive and advanced as compared to the short, half-day courses we offer. These seminars are centered on providing a combination of skills and knowledge enhancement for the participants. 

    By presenting actual situations and new concepts, the participants are allowed to analyze and synthesize the topics to their own corporate realities. These pave the way for a renewed perspective leading to better solutions to the present work challenges that they face.

Advanced Skills Building Courses -  Two to Five-Day

    These intensive courses are designed using a methodical, total skills building style that ensures an incisive and holistic approach on the subject matter. Limited to twenty-five participants per session, the participants are assured of hard-core learning and effectiveness. 

    The comprehensive learning techniques used by the facilitators are guaranteed to give the participants value for money and high impact results. In addition to these, learning materials in hard and digital form are given to each participant. Furthermore, the measurability of results for these advanced skills building courses are provided on a per participant basis to guide the client companies on how to maximize performance after the seminar.



Training Methodologies
The Harry Pound Company believes that in order to deliver training programs that really matter, the focus must be on the participants’ needs as well as their companies’ needs.

For Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced In-House Training Programs, we provide the following service procedures:

1. An Initial Training Needs Information Sheet to be accomplished
2. A Formal Discussion of Training Needs with the Client Company’s Decision Makers
3. Development of a Customized Course Outline based on the preliminary discussions
4. After the outline is accepted and approved, the program facilitator develops the learning modules and are provided in complete form to the participants during the seminar proper
5. The facilitators’ actual delivery and conduct of the seminar is tailored to the particular audience’s needs to assist effective learning and retention
6. The actual training is guaranteed to focus on a combination of skills improvement and behavioral enhancement for each participant to ensure that they are more motivated to practice what they have learned
7.Two weeks after the seminar has been conducted, the facilitator provides a report to measure the results and impact made by the seminar as well as give recommendations on how to support the learning provided during the seminar
8. Three months after the seminar, the facilitator would revisit the client company for a post-training evaluation of business results derived as well as provide suggested actions for improving performance

3. Complete learning materials are provided to ensure easy review for the participants even after the seminar
